Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Plumber to work for specialised industrial client based in Rotherham, UK.

ROLE: Plumber

PAY RATE: £17.00 per hour PAYE

JOB TYPE: 6 months contract

LOCATION: Rotherham, UK (S60)

HOURS: 37.50 hours per week - Monday to Friday

THE ROLE:
Main duties & responsibilities:

• Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance on domestic wet systems, including plastic and copper pipework.
• Complete plumbing and basic multi-skilled maintenance tasks such as tap replacements, bath panel refitting, basic tiling, and basic joinery works.
• Deliver high standards of customer service while working within tenanted properties.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company policies, SHEQ procedures, and statutory regulations.
• Accurately complete job records, time sheets, and electronic documentation.
• Work closely with supervisors, clients, and internal teams to support KPI achievement and service delivery.
• Properly use PPE, company equipment, and vehicle communication/tracking systems.
• Attend required training sessions and team meetings when necessary.

Essential skills / experience / qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 or above in Plumbing or relevant discipline (Level 3 advantageous).
• Valid CSCS Plumbing Card.
• Basic DBS Check.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience carrying out domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently within occupied/tenanted properties.
• Basic multi-skilled maintenance experience would be advantageous.
