2nd Line Infrastructure Engineer
Looking for your next challenge in a fast-moving, mission-critical environment?
We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing team delivering secure, high-impact solutions across defence and national security programmes.
This role requires active DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance.
The Role
You'll be hands-on across both BAU support and project delivery, working with a broad tech stack and solving complex infrastructure challenges.
Expect real variety - from troubleshooting live environments to supporting new deployments.
Tech Stack
- Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
- Linux (Ubuntu / CentOS)
- Virtualisation (VMware / Hyper-V)
- Microsoft Stack (O365, Exchange, SQL, Teams, SharePoint)
- Networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancing)
- SAN storage & PowerShell
What You'll Bring
- Strong infrastructure support background
- Confident troubleshooting complex environments
- Experience working to SLAs & customer KPIs
- Solid communication skills - comfortable with customers
- Ownership mindset and attention to detail
