Health and Safety Manager - Waste & Landfill Operations (National Role)

The Role

Lead risk and assurance across landfill, energy recovery facilities, agricultural services, and construction operations. Establish strategic vision for R&A function, develop team capability, oversee planned maintenance and construction project support, drive risk culture and continuous improvement across nationally distributed sites.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement risk assurance strategy across multiple waste treatment facilities
• Lead auditing programme and trend analysis on technical and construction risk
• Support planned maintenance outages and capital projects
• Drive consistency in risk management and operational improvements
• Influence stakeholders across operational sites nationally
• Champion active risk culture across the business

What We Need

• 5+ years Safety Advisor or Safety Manager experience in waste management, landfill, energy recovery or construction
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
• Auditing experience (internal/external)
• Stakeholder influence and site-based credibility
• Excellent communication - internal and external facing
