This is a senior, site-based construction position with responsibility for managing the delivery of a technically complex, MEP-intensive project through construction, commissioning and handover.

The successful candidate will provide leadership across contractors, consultants and specialist delivery partners, maintaining oversight of programme, cost, quality, safety, risk and overall construction performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor contractor performance, quality and safety
  • Coordinate design, construction, engineering, procurement and commissioning interfaces
  • Identify project risks, resolve delivery issues and escalate material concerns where appropriate
  • Manage key construction milestones and dependencies
  • Support commercial and contractual discussions with delivery partners
  • Provide accurate project reporting covering programme, costs, risks and key actions
  • Coordinate construction activities with commissioning and final handover requirements
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain project momentum

Candidate Profile

You should bring significant experience delivering large-scale, technically complex construction programmes, ideally within data centres or other mission-critical environments.
We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience managing General Contractors and specialist subcontractors
  • Strong knowledge of construction programme, cost, change and risk management
  • Experience delivering projects through commissioning and handover
  • Strong commercial and contractor-management capability
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience with construction/project management and scheduling systems
  • A relevant Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or associated technical qualification, or equivalent industry experience

Previous experience with multi-megawatt data centre developments and working within an owner/client-side project organisation would be particularly valuable.

Essential

Candidates must already have:
✓ Full right to work in Germany
✓ German language skills appropriate to a site/construction environment
✓ Knowledge of German building and construction regulations
✓ Ability to work on site in Frankfurt
