Exciting Opportunity - Workshop Manager (MRP Part 145)

This company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Workshop Manager to join their dynamic team. As the Workshop Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's MRP Part 145 'C' rating Capability Listing and ensuring the efficient operation of their component maintenance workshops.

Key Responsibilities of the Workshop Manager:

- Oversee all operations within the MRP Part 145 workshops, including leading a team of technicians
- Ensure efficient workflows, maintain quality control, and manage inventory
- Adhere to safety protocols and deliver projects on time, meeting customer expectations
- Act as the Nominated Post Holder for Workshops, responsible for ensuring compliance with MRP Part 145 requirements
- Provide guidance and training to the workshop teams to drive continuous improvement
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment

The Ideal Workshop Manager:

- Demonstrable experience in aviation workshop management, with a strong understanding of MRP Part 145 regulatory requirements
- Completed an engineering apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical engineering or a military equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of aviation industry experience, with previous workshop management experience
- Proficient in the use of workshop equipment, machinery, and tooling
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Adaptable, with the ability to think creatively and work with minimal supervision
- Eligible to work and live in the UK, with the ability to obtain the necessary security clearance
