Maintenance Services Engineer Opportunity
Seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Services Engineer to join an established in-house team at a prestigious company in the United Kingdom. This exciting role offers the chance to play a vital part in ensuring the smooth, cost-effective, and sustainable operation of the company's state-of-the-art facilities.
As a Maintenance Services Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the company's building services, including heating, lighting, ventilation, air-conditioning, electrical distribution, water supply, sanitation, fire protection, and more. You will work closely with the in-house team, as well as interact with building users and third-party service providers, to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of the company's critical systems.
The ideal candidate for this Maintenance Services Engineer position will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- City & Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3 Apprenticeship or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience working in a large office environment
- Proficiency in 18th Edition IEE Regulations
- Expertise in electrical testing and inspection (desirable)
- Understanding of L8 regulations
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and lighting controls
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and legislation
- Competence in technical drawing, computer modelling, and IT
- High voltage authorisation (desirable)
