This company is seeking a passionate and skilled Test Design Support Engineer to join their team and play a crucial role in supporting their state-of-the-art manufacturing operations.

The Role of the Test Design Support Engineer

As a Test Design Support Engineer, you will be the vital link between the design teams and the manufacturing teams, providing invaluable knowledge, expertise, and support. You will work alongside a team of dedicated support engineers to ensure the seamless integration of designs into the production environment, contributing to the success of the company's advanced module missile programmes and other unique opportunities.

Key Responsibilities of the Test Design Support Engineer

• Act as the primary interface between design and manufacturing, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
• Provide technical support and problem-solving expertise to resolve design-related issues during the manufacturing phase.
• Contribute to the design of product/systems, including digital, analogue, power, RF, and interconnect disciplines.
• Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Prepare clear and concise engineering documentation to support the delivery of your work assignments.

Qualifications and Experience of the Ideal Test Design Support Engineer

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Degree qualification (or equivalent industry experience) in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in the design and support of electronic products/systems, with a focus on one or more of the following areas: digital, analogue, power, RF, and interconnects.
• Excellent verbal communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to write clear and concise engineering documentation.
• Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team, with a passion for innovation and collaboration.
• Investigative skills to identify root causes of design-related issues and propose robust corrective actions.
• A track record of on-time delivery and a commitment to quality.
