Supply Chain Coordinator

The Supply Chain Coordinator is a crucial role within this company, responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products and services to meet customer needs. As a process operator of the 'Supply External Products and Services' process, the Supply Chain Coordinator will have the accountability to monitor the delivery of the right part, at the right time, at the right quantity, to the right place.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor purchase orders to ensure alignment with requirements
- Optimize ordering parameters, such as safety stock, safety time, batch size, and reorder point, based on factors like delivery performance, quality performance, economic order quantity, and demand fluctuation
- Monitor and manage delivery forecasts and 'line of balance' through regular interaction with suppliers
- Perform monitoring through process performance measures and KPIs, including ordering measures, missing parts, stock KPIs, and level of service
- Ensure clear and regular communication with internal customers across the world, escalating issues as needed to avoid impacts on production
- Participate in supplier performance reviews and provide feedback to suppliers where required
- Follow up and support troubleshooting for delivery issues, goods receipt, technical/administrative quality notices, and invoices
- Analyze MRP and Supply External Product exception messages, and monitor supplier stock to support the scrap/sell/transfer process

Qualifications and Skills:
- Highly motivated self-starter with a keen interest in learning and taking on challenges
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to understand requirements planning
- Experienced in working with supply chains and using SAP
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail and the ability to analyze data and identify improvement opportunities
