Our international client is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join their team, for an exciting project based in Turek, Poland
Your Role will encompass:
- Acting as the primary focal point of the client with the end-client and consortium partner.
- Leading and managing the construction of the project from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Overseeing all construction activities, including site preparation, power plant construction, equipment installation, and infrastructure development.
- Providing technical guidance and support throughout the construction process, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
- Collaborating with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, supervising their work, and ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Implementing quality control procedures and conducting inspections to maintain the highest construction standards.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
- Promoting clear communication and cooperation with engineers, designers, consultants, and local authorities.
- Enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols and fostering a safety-first culture on-site.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reporting to all project stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
- Ideally 10+ years of relevant work experience in managing large-scale industrial or energy construction projects.
- University degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with project management tools is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Polish or Greek is a plus.
- Certification in Project Management will be considered an asset.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability and willingness to be based full-time at the project site in Turek, Poland.
