RF Test Engineer
This company, a leading player in the aerospace industry, is seeking a talented RF Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. If you're an experienced RF specialist with a passion for cutting-edge technology, this could be the perfect role for you.
As the RF Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Spacecraft Production UK department, contributing to the development and testing of state-of-the-art satellite payloads. Reporting to the Test Manager, the RF Test Engineer will be responsible for preparing test procedures, planning and sequencing test phases, and providing hands-on support during critical test campaigns in the cleanroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test procedures and provide operational support to the AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Test) team
- Manage RF test campaigns, coordinating with the test operations team and other project stakeholders
- Liaise with the Test Manager to ensure successful project milestones and reporting
- Collaborate with the Payload AIT Quality organization to ensure adherence to standard processes
- Support the investigation and resolution of non-conformances, contributing to problem-solving and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- An Engineering degree with a specialization in RF, Electronics, or Aerospace
- Proven knowledge of RF test techniques and systems, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and RF instrumentation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and VBA
- Desirable: Knowledge of satellite functionality and experience in complex test campaign management
