The Role of the Panel Wireperson

As a Panel Wireperson, you will be responsible for providing wiring, mechanical assembly, and fitting of components within electrical control cabinets and systems. This role requires the ability to read and understand circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings, as well as the ability to collaborate with the engineering team.

The Panel Wireperson will be tasked with wiring electrical control cabinets and systems, as well as fitting out and assembling components within these systems. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a multi-skilled team, demonstrating your strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Requirements for the Panel Wireperson Role

To be successful in this Panel Wireperson role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Experience in wiring electrical control cabinets and systems
• Proficiency in mechanical assembly and fitting of components
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with the engineering team
• Knowledge of 5S/Lean manufacturing principles and a commitment to achieving key performance indicators (KPIs)
