Role: Coating Inspector

Rates: €360 - €380 All-Inclusive Daily Rate
Clearance: Background Check / Proof of Residency & Right to Work in France
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coating Process Oversight (3LPE and CWC)
- Supervise the full 3LPE coating process:
- Surface preparation and cleanliness (Sa 2½), anchor profile checks.
- Adequate storage, handling and application of coating materials.
- FBE application and curing.
- PE adhesive and topcoat application.
- Verify IMTE control of all test equipment
- Coating inspection: DFT, holiday testing, adhesion.
- Verification, Inspection and testing of 3LPE application as per approved ITP
- Oversee the CWC application:
- Concrete mix verification and batching.
- Rebar cage installation and alignment.
- Adequate storage, handling and application of CWC materials.
- Coating uniformity, curing conditions, cutback accuracy.
- Verify IMTE control of all test equipment
- Verification, Inspection and testing of CWC application as per approved ITP
- Ensure application complies to approved procedures and applicable specifications
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience of QA/QC of pipeline coating applications for subsea projects.
- In-depth knowledge of 3LPE and CWC coating systems and related standards, inspection and testing requirements.
- Valid NACE/AMPP CIP Level 2 or equivalent coating inspector certification.
- Previous experience overseeing contractor or third-party inspection teams.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
